SOCIALLY RESPONSIBLE PRODUCTION
We treat our workforce with dignity and invite audit from one of the most reputed global bodies. The SA8000 Standard is an auditable social certification standard for decent workplaces in the industrial sector. It is based on the UN Declaration of Human Rights, conventions of the ILO, UN and national law. It measure social performance based on policies and procedures that protect the basic human rights of workers.
We try our best to tread lightly on the planet. It is a must that our production partners use GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified chemicals in all the processes that the material goes through. These include dyeing, bio polishing, moisture wicking treatments. We're committed to reducing our carbon footprint by ensuring that all the production processes are completed within close proximity of each other. The Global Organic Textile Standard is the worldwide textile processing standard for organic fibers, including ecological and social criteria, backed up by independent certification of the entire textile supply chain. GOTS defines world-wide recognized requirements that ensure organic status of textiles, from harvesting of the raw materials, through environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing, up to labeling in order to provide a credible assurance to the end consumer.
