We are taking strict measures to ensure the health and welfare of our staff, our delivery partners and of course, our customers.
Here are some of our guidelines and practices during these times:
Currently, we are operating at 30% capacity at any given time in order to ensure that proper social distancing norms may be followed.
We are monitoring body temperature of all warehouse employees at the entry gate with infrared thermometers. All workers are requested to sanitize their hands before entering the work place.
Social distancing norms are strictly followed within the warehouse and all work stations are maintained at a safe distance from one another.
Warehouse space and work stations are thoroughly cleaned regularly to maintain utmost hygiene.
Warehouse employees are required to wear gloves and masks at all times while on the premises.
All logistics staff are verified before entering the premises for pick-ups and are given the proper protective gear before handling any packages.
Finally, we want to thank each and every one of you for standing by us through this difficult period. We highly appreciate your support and understanding as we continue to learn and grow from this trying period in all our lives.
This film is dedicated to all yoga practitioners and teachers from across the globe.
This is our humble attempt to bring you closer to India, the birthplace of yoga. A country where harmony thrives in the madness and chaos of a billion souls.
From there we started a two year long deep dive into the history of yoga. Alongside we worked with fabric and material experts to help develop products that were sustainable, had optimum performance and looked great.
We believe that most yoga wear is sportswear in disguise, and no one is seriously asking, "What garment would be true to yoga practice?"
The Birth of Proyog
Proyog is derived from a Bengali word 'prayog' that means 'Experiment' or 'Application' and yoga is about both. Pro stands for Professional and yog stand for Yoga. The Downward Dog logo comes from our love for our four-legged friends and the pose that they inspire.
We celebrate yoga in all forms with people across the globe. We hope you find the products are everything you need for your practice.
THIS IS WHAT WE BELIEVE
If yoga comes from India, the onus of true yoga wear cannot be on the world.
So it is with the utmost respect that we present Proyog, the world’s first super-specialized yoga attire for serious practitioners. It is designed to enhance the practice.
Proyog is no sportswear in disguise. In fact, it’s a clarion call to millions of present-day yoga lovers who still wear polyester. Unaware of the innate contradiction, or the harm they invite.
Naturally breathable, Proyog is meant to liberate. To free the body so the mind can focus. It is the polar opposite of synthetic. Soft and stretchable, neither too tight nor too loose, Proyog moves along with the body as you breathe in and out of asanas.
Our purpose is pure and simple.
The perfect yoga wear can distil and deepen your yoga experience. Proyog’s line of yoga wear products is available to serious practitioners worldwide.
They are not only harmful to the body but also the environment. When we wash plastic garments, the micro fibres enter the oceans and pollute the sea life. But 90% yoga practitioners still wear plastic products. We have made it our mission to offer a sustainable alternative.
