    Yes. The Kochi Mat’s natural rubber surface provides natural traction for foundational poses and the cotton mesh offers stability suitable for more dynamic and advanced practices.
    Will the travel mat stay in place on smooth and rough floors? +
    Yes. The natural rubber base provides a firm, non-slip foundation on polished wood, tile etc. as well as on stone or cement floors. For extra cushion while travelling lay the mat on a hotel carpet or grass law. For studio use, we still recommend checking the floor for dust or residue and keeping the mat clean.
    Is this mat safe for people with latex allergies? +
    The Kochi Mat is made with natural rubber. Natural rubber may contain latex proteins and is not recommended for people with latex allergies.
    How should I clean the mat? +
    Carry the Proyog Mat cleaner or mist with a vinegar-water solution (1:4 vinegar to water) or gentle, highly diluted soap. Wipe with a soft cloth, and air-dry in the shade. Do not soak the mat or expose it to direct sunlight for extended periods.
    How long will the mat last with regular practice? +
    With proper care and routine cleaning, the Kochi Mat is built to last for several years of regular practice while maintaining grip and structural integrity. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sun and do not store it wet.Additionally, keep the Kochi Mat laid flat or rolled up when not in transit.
